INTRODUCTION ABOUT PANEER BIRIYANI:

Paneer Biryani is a delicious and aromatic Indian rice dish made with basmati rice, paneer (Indian cottage cheese), vegetables, and a variety of spices. It is known for its rich flavour, wonderful aroma, and colourful appearance. It can be served with onion raita, kurma, or gravy. Paneer biryani is a popular vegetarian dish enjoyed by people of all ages. Paneer provides protein, which helps build and repair muscles and contains calcium, which supports strong bones and teeth.

Paneer supplies carbohydrates that give the body energy ,vegetables and spices can provide vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants.

Paneer Biriyani 


    Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of basmati rice
  • Bayleaf-3
  • Cardamom-2
  • Cinnamon-2
  • Cloves-2
  • 200 gm paneer, cut into cubes
  • 2 onions, finely sliced
  • 2 tomato, chopped
  • 2 green chillies, slit
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • ½ teaspoon red chilli powder
  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • ½ teaspoon garam masala
  • A handful of mint leaves
  • A handful of coriander leaves
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1½–2 cups water
    Procedure for making paneer biriyani:
  • Wash and soak the basmati rice for 15 minutes.
  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker then add the whole biriyani spices: bayleaf, cardamon, cinnamon,cloves
  • Add the sliced onions and green chillies and saute until the onions turn light golden brown.
  • Then add ginger-garlic paste and saute for a minute. Add the chopped tomato, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt. Cook until the tomato becomes soft and mushy.
  • Add the paneer cubes, mint leaves and coriander leaves. Mix gently and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Now add the soaked rice and Pour in the appropriate amount of water and check the salt. Mix gently
  • Close the pressure cooker and cook until the rice is done, following the cooking time suitable for your rice. Allow the pressure to release naturally before opening the cooker. Gently fluff the biryani with a fork.
  My Tips:
  
  •   Myself gave 2 whistle for pressure cook.
  •   For 1 cup of basmati rice add 1 and half cup of water.
  •   Instead of basmati rice you can also add normal rice.
  •   For normal rice you add one cup of rice three cups of water.
