South indian pepper chicken is a delicious aromatic, spicy and hot flavoured dish prepared by using chicken.it can be served with chappathi , idli, dosa , jeera rice , steamed rice etc..the spicy and tasty chicken made by using easy ingredients and basic ingredients which is available in our kitchen  pantry.

 

This receipe is a unique and simple used and cooked by ginger garlic glue, onion , red chilli powder

Lets gets started our receipe.

INGREDIENTS:

 

Oil – 2 tbsp

Curry leaves – few

Coriander leaves – few

Onion – 3 (largely and thinely sliced)

Finely chopped Ginger- ½ tsp

Finely chopped garlic – ½ tsp

Green chillies – 2

Water – as needed

Whole black pepper – 2 tbsp

For marination:

Chicken – 1/2 cup

Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp

Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp

Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp

Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp

Garam masala – 1/2 tsp

Curd / yogurt- 2 tsp

Squeeze lemon – 3 tsp

Salt - required


INSTRUCTIONS:

 

  • To start making Pepper Chicken Recipe, prepare every one of the fixings and keep prepared. 
  • For the marination, make the glue of the ginger and garlic. You can utilize the blender processor or a mixie jar to grind the ginger garlic glue/ paste.
  • Into a huge mixing currently, add the chicken pieces alongside bones into a bowl then, add in  turmeric powder, curd, red chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder , ginger garlic glue, lemon squeeze and salt. Blend well to consolidate. Cover the container, place it in the cooler and marinate the chicken for 20 to 30 minutes. 
  • To make the Pepper Chicken, in an enormous kadai preheat the oil over medium warmth. 
  • Add the cut onion, cut green chillies,1 tsp of  cleaved ginger and garlic and saute until the onion mollifies and becomes somewhat golden brown. Then add in the curry leaves 
  • When the onions begin to brown, add the marinated chicken and saute for around 2 minutes with the onion ginger garlic masala/ paste.
  • Several minutes, add the coriander powder and squashed pepper. Mix well, cover the container and cook on low warmth until the Pepper Chicken meets up from sides of the dish and then gets softer texture .
  • Continue to mix discontinuously and sprinkle/ pour water as and when needed to cook the chicken.
  • Cook until the Pepper Chicken gets to the delicate and cooked. When the chicken is delicate cooked, open the top and mix on medium warmth until the chicken and the water makes it dry.
  • Finally  add another 1 teaspoon squashed pepper, 1 teaspoon lemon squeeze and few coriander leaves and give it a mix.
  • Serve  Pepper Chicken Recipe alongside Steamed rice and  Pappu Charu, sambar rice, poori, dosa , idli Recipe for a delectable lunch or supper.

 

NOTES:

 

  • Adjust spices asper your taste.
  • Make sure adding of more pepper gives a spice taste.
  • Pepper is the main ingredient in this receipe.
  • You cannot skip the pepper in this receipe.
  • If you don’t like curd taste you can skip curd.
  • Boneless chicken or bone chicken also use to prepare this receipe.
  • Cook chicken until it gets softer.
