Carrot Poriyal Ingredients: Oil – 2 tbsp Mustard seeds – 1 tsp Chopped carrot – 1 cup Salt – To Taste Turmeric powder – 1 tsp Red chilli powder – 1 tsp Water – 1/2 cup coconut - 1/2 cup green chilli – 1 curry leaves – few urad dal – 1 tsp steps: • Heat oil in a pan once, it gets heated add mustard seeds. • Now add urad dal and saute until it becomes golden. • Add green chilli and curry leaves provides a stir and blend • Then add chopped carrots and add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and blend everything. • Add 1/2 cup of water and mix it well. • Close the pan and cook until the water becomes dry. • Once, the carrot gets cooked add grated coconut . mix well and switch off the flame.
