INGREDIENTS:
3 to 4 tbsp
of ghee
12 cashews/ mundhiri paruppu.
1 tbsp raisins
1 cup rava/semolina (fine)
1 ½ cup
water
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp
saffron water/kesari powder
1/4 tsp cardamom
power/elakkai powder
INSTRUCTIONS
TO PREPARE RAVA KESARI:
- Heat 2 tbsp ghee/explained spread and dry roast cashews, 1 tbsp raisins on low fire.
- when the cashews become brilliant brown, transfer it to the bowl and keep to the side.
- presently in a similar kadai add 2 tbsp of ghee and 1 cup of rava. utilize fine/coarse assortment rava.
- Roast them on low fire for 5 minutes or till it turns fragrant.
- Once it gets good aroma transfer it to a clean plate and let them cool.
- in a huge kadai bubble 1 ½ cup water.

NOTES:
- Make sure you should use fine rava.
- Instead of orange food colour you can add yellow and also red food colour.
- You can eat it as-is with no sides. Store extras in a canvassed holder/ air tight container in the fridge for 1 to 2 days.
- You can also add badam / pistas in this kesari.
- You can also skip the cardamom powder if you don’t like .
