Peanuts are as popular as they are healthy too. It is high in fibre , vitamins and minerals. It is also useful as a part of weight loss diet . it reduces the heart disease. Let’s gets started our receipe.

Ingredients:

Roasted Peanut/ ground nut – 1 cup

grated coconut – 1/2 cup

red  chilli - 3

Salt – As Needed

Water - Required

Oil – 1 tbsp

Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp

Curry leaves – few

Steps:

  • In a mixie blender add roasted peanut, grated coconut, red chili, salt and required water.
  • Blend it to the smooth paste and serve it to the serving bowl.
  • For tempering, heat a oil in a pan add mustard seeds then, add few curry leaves.
  • Turn off the flame and pour it over the chutney.

 

Notes:

  1. We should also add green chilli.
  2. If you like sesame seeds you should also blend it with other ingredients.
  3. Serve it with onion pakoda, potato pakoda, Pongal .
  4. We should also keep it as side condiment with steamed rice.
