Cauliflower peas masala

Cauliflower is an high source of vitamins and minerals. Cauliflower
is high in fibre which beneficial for a overall health. It is rich in
sulforaphane. Cauliflower is an vegan receipe. It is prepared by using onion ,
tomato, ginger garlic paste. It can be served as a condiment for steamed rice. We
prepare lot of receipe by using
cauliflower for example cauliflower pakoda, cauliflower kuruma, cauliflower
rice etc.. now, we going to prepare cauliflower masala style by using peas. Let’s
gets started our receipe.
Ingredients:
Oil – 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tsp
Jeera – 1 tsp
Onion - 3
Tomato- 2
Green chilli- 2
Ginger garlic paste – 1tsp
Salt – As Neede
Water - Required
Cauliflower – 1
Green peas – 1/2 cup
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
Garam masala – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Curry leaves- few
Coriander – few
Instructions:
- First clean the cauliflower and chop it in to medium pieces.
- Soak the cauliflower in hot water for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes drain off the water and keep it aside.
- Heat a oil in a pan after sometimes add mustard seeds and jeera seeds wait until it becomes crackle.
- Add curryleaves , onion and saute well.
- After that add finely chopped tomatoes and cook well.
- Once its done add green chilli , ginger garlic paste and wait for its raw smell goes.
- Then add cleanly washed and drained cauliflower and fresh green peas and cook about 10 minutes.
- Now add whole spices- red chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt and required water and cook until its turns into gravy consistency.
- Once, it gets done garnish with coriander leaves and turn off the flame.
- Serve it hot.
Notes:
- Serve it with dosa, chappathi and steamed rice.
- You can also add tomato paste instead of chopped tomatoes.
