Cauliflower contains vitamin c. It is a tasty starter. cauliflower helps with detox. It helps to reduce cancer. Let’s gets started our receipe.

Ingredients:

Cauliflower - 2

Salt - required

Hot water – 4 cups

Yogurt/ curd – 2 tbsp

Red chilli powder – 1 tsp

Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp

Garam masala – 1 tsp

Coriander powder – 1 tsp

Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp

Lemon juice – 1 tsp

Corn flour – 1/4  cup

Rice flour – 1/4  cup

oil  - for frying

 

steps:

  •          In a large bowl  add 4 cups of hot water and add cauliflower , salt and blanch for 10 minutes.
  •          After 10 minutes drain off the water and take the blanched cauliflower in a bowl. 
  •          Add curd, chilli powder, garam masala, coriander powder, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice and required salt in to the bowl.
  •          Mix everything and allow to marinate for 30-45 minutes.
  •          Now add cornflour and rice flour and coat well.
  •          Deep fry gobi until it gets golden brown colour.
  •          Drain off the oil in a tissue paper and serve it hot with ketchup.

 

Notes:

  •       We should also add Kashmiri chilli powder instead of normal red chilli powder.
  •       We should also shallow fry the gobis in tawa.
  •       Marination process gives the perfect taste to gobi.
