This is quick chutney receipe that goes extremely well with
idli , dosa , poori , Pongal. Chutney is a gluten free , spicy condiment. Let’s
gets started our receipe.
Coconut Chutney |
Ingredients:
For Blending:
Fried gram – 2 to 3 table spoon
Coconut – 1/2 cup
Green Chilli - 2
Ginger – 1 small piece
Salt - Required
Water – As Needed
For tempering:
Oil – 1 teaspoon
Mustard seeds – 1/4 teaspoon
Curry leaves - few
Steps:
- Add 1/2 cup coconut to a blender jar.
- Add 2 to 3 table spoon of fried gram.
- Then add 2 green chillies , 1 small piece of ginger and required amount of salt.
- Pour 1/4 cup of water , close the blender and begin to blend to a smooth chutney.
- After blending transfer it to a serving bowl.
- Heat a pan , add 1 teaspoon oil . once, the oil heated add 1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds and wait until it becomes crackle.
- Then, add 4 to 5 curry leaves. Once, the leaves turns crisp turn off the flame and pour it over the chutney.
Notes:
- You can also add 1 pinch of hing .
- Instead of fried gram you can also add peanut.
- You can also add garlic , tamarind , red chilli in this receipe.
- Serve it with idli, dosa, poori and Pongal.
